Samuel Agyakwa Okodie wins AUCC SRC Presidential elections

Samuel Agyakwa Okodie beat his main contender in a controversial campus-wide elections on Friday, 3rd September 2021 to become the President-elect of the Students’ Representative Council (SRC) of the African University College of Communications (AUCC).

He polled 343 of the total valid votes cast, to become the winner. He is set to replace Micheal kofi oduro, who has served the role since September 2020.

He will be the students’ representative on the University Council. Meanwhile, Florence Mensah has also been elected General Secretary after polling 258 votes.

Frederick Appiagyei Coleman secured 275 YES votes to be elected the Financial Secretary.

Mr Ayakw Okodie  before his elections had held various positions on campus including being the Class Rep between 2019 and 2021. He also became a congressman 2019/20. He also served as the TESCON General Secretary 2021/22

Samuel Agyakwa Kodie had his basic education in  Suhum Methodist Junior High School and then proceeded to the Suhum Senior High and Technical School for his second cycle education.
